Is swimming mandatory for a Cabin Crew?

The Director General of Civil Aviation in India does not require Cabin Crew to know swimming. This applies to other International Governance like IATA and ICAO. Similarly, it is also not mandatory with most major and International Airlines.

Is Foreign Language a must if I wish to join a Foreign International Airline?

Most major Airlines recruiting from India requires the candidate to be fluent in English, Hindi and a Regional Language of that place of origin. Indian Crew are recruited to facilitate the primary role of an Interpreter besides Service onboard.
